to invest Rs 4,000 crore in India, generate 5000 jobs


New Delhi (Business Desk) Chinese company Voov to set up a mobile handset will plant a new plant in Uttar Pradesh. The company will invest 4,000 crore in four years under the expansion plan Vivo reported this on Thursday. According to the statement, the company competing with companies like Samsung and Xiomai in the Indian market acquired 169 acres on Yamuna Express. It said that Vivo hopes that in the first phase, opportunities for 5,000 additional jobs will be created.

New land acquisition has been made near the manufacturing unit established in the existing 50 acres. This will help Vivo to increase manufacturing capacity in India and speed up Vivo's growth. Vivo India Director (Brand Strategy) Neptune Maraya said, "Vivo entered India in 2014 with the commitment of providing new products and customers better products. India is a major market for us and today we are in the next phase of India It has reiterated its commitment by entering into the growth. "
He said that the new plant will benefit the surrounding areas and generate employment opportunities. Also training opportunities will be available. Vivo's all-India smartphones are being manufactured in Greater Noida Plant. This is one of the four manufacturing units in Vivo's world.
In the current manufacturing set-up, an investment of Rs 300 crore has been invested, in which more than 5,000 employees work, which has twenty lakh units capacity each month.
